So you have this great idea for a blog, huh? You want to get started TODAY, right? Well, before you just jump into blogging, take a step back and make a strategy, a game plan. If you aren’t sure about how to get started, you could spend a lot of time just spinning your wheels, getting nowhere.
Luckily, there are a lot of bloggers out there who were once in the same position as you, and with the right tools and strategy, they turned out to be real bloggers — whatever that means.
Feeling Stressed? It Might Be Tech Stress
Do you constantly feel stressed? It might having something to do with your social media habits. It’s a symptom that is unique to this generation, and it’s known as “tech stress.”
Because our phones and tablets are likely linked to our work emails, there is little to no differentiation between what we think of as work time and time off. You might feel like having access to your work email is actually a good thing for your productivity, but it’s actually causing you tech stress.
Pope Francis starts a trend (or two)
Pop quiz: if hashtags about Pope Francis in America weren’t trending on Twitter, would he really be in America? In the news today, Pope Francis starts a trend (or two) on Twitter. Catholics and non-Catholics alike are buzzing over the Bishop of Rome’s visit to the United States.
During the papal visit, as always, you can depend on Twitter, collectively, to keep its finger on the pulse of the people. For what was probably the first of a series of days, hashtags about @Pontifex were trending virtually continuously on Twitter, including #PopeinUS, #PapaenUSA, #IfIMetThePope and #PopeInDC.
